So, been a really long time since I updated. I'm starting School soon, so Brickfilming is going to be very limited. I've got a new MacBook, so I'm still transferring files from my old Windows computer. The TIME WARS script is one of the files I haven't transferred yet, so I haven't been able to work on it. Don't worry about me not finishing it; I won't. This is on brickfilm I don't want to see wasted.
I've got a new film to show you. THAC 3 happened a few weeks ago, and I did enter. We're still awaiting results, but I'm hoping that I'll do well. Anyway, for those who want to see it, here are some links.
Low Quality MOV, 4.3 MB, 3:07*
High Quality MOV, 30.4 MB, 3:07, Recommended
Medium - Low Quality Google Video, 2:55
READ AFTER YOU WATCH THE MOVIE!
This movie introduces my dynamic duo, Jason and Sebastian. I'm not sure if I like Sebastian's voice, but I was rushed. I know that there are light flickers. I thought I had my camera settings locked down, but apparently not.
At first, I had no idea what to do. I was in chat, seeing if anyone had ideas. Then, I don't remember how, but this whole idea came to me then. I immediately started working on the script.
During the animation phase, there were several times when I was fed up with it and wanted to quit. It was during those times that I listened to "Don't Give Up" by Peter Gabriel. That song really pulled me through.
Editing the movie was a bit of a pain, as I didn't have some voices, and then the movie files wouldn't work. As a result, I had to go down to my Windows, re-install SUPER, convert them, and then re-send them back to myself.
Sadly, Z wasn't able to get his lines to me. I'm also not sure if I like Z's voice, either, but I had no choice. I had to stick with that, considering it was late at night, and I was getting tired.
I would have loved to do my own score, but, again, it was getting late when I was editing it, so I had to stick with GarageBand's pre-made loops.
I'd like to thank everyone who helped with this film. That includes RevMen (voices, played RevMen), Film Brain (voices, played n00b), and Lord_Of_The_LEGO (title).
NOTES:
* Because of compression, it's 12 fps, instead of 15 fps, so it looks jerky. Also, the compression is bad because it was compressed in GarageBand, which was the only way to add music.
